Have eaten in Dukes many times, the Lasagna is a little spicy but a nice treat especially with the Cheesy Garlic bread. Generally have found the food to be of a decent quality. Its nicely set out and spacious when compared with its local cafe bar rivals.. and although I'm not into sweets, I'm told that the deserts are always worth a try. It can get a bit busy on a weekend night so if going for food stick to Monday to Thursday or do Friday to Sunday lunch to late afternoon. And Dukes is a good place for a pint or a coffee anythime.

I ordered a beef burger with cheese and bacon. It wasn't particularly cheap at £7.95 - for that you usually get a really nice 100% beef burger. It sure did look the part, but once all the bacon and cheese was eaten - the burger itself tasted discusting, got knows what is in it, but I'm sure only a small percentage of it was beef. I had to leave the rest of the burger - very pissed off!
